Hi, my name is Alexa Perez. I am 16 years old and a junior at Otay Ranch High School in Chula Vista,

California. I currently play the goalkeeper position for Legends FC San Diego 2010 ECNL. I started my

soccer career in goal, and over the years I’ve developed a bold, fast, and fearless playing style that

reflects the way I compete.

I began playing soccer as a goalkeeper at the early age of 7 years old. Over the years I learned early how

to communicate, stay composed under pressure, and read the game from the back. After progressing

through recreational clubs and transitioning into competitive club soccer, I continued to grow as a

keeper developing the speed and athleticism that allow me to cover space quickly, win 1v1s, and

command my box with confidence. I’ve always been one of the fastest players on the field, and that

explosiveness helps me close angles, challenge breakaways, and play aggressively off my line.

My style of play is bold and decisive. I’m vocal, I organize my back line, and I take pride in being a

reliable presence for my team. Whether it’s blocking a shot, distributing the ball, or directing defensive

shape, I compete with intensity and a strong understanding of the game. My early years as a multi

position player also gives me a unique perspective I see the field clearly, anticipate play well, and stay

connected to the rhythm of the match.

Outside of soccer, I’m focused on my academics, staying active, and spending time with family and

friends. After graduating in 2028, my goal is to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level and

compete at the highest standard
