Isabella Valdez, known as “Izzy,” is a 2010 ECNL player who plays both midfielder and forward for Legends FC San Diego 2010G ECNL. Standing 5’2”, Izzy is a dynamic and versatile athlete recognized for her speed, athleticism, skill on the ball and ability to impact the game in multiple positions.

Currently a freshman at Rancho Buena Vista High School, Izzy maintains a strong 3.8 GPA while balancing her demanding soccer schedule. She is a highly competitive player with excellent field vision and a high soccer IQ, consistently making smart decisions under pressure. Coaches describe her as extremely coachable, hardworking, and always striving to improve.

Izzy’s quickness, creativity, and determination make her a dangerous attacking presence, while her discipline and composure allow her to contribute effectively in the midfield. 

Beyond soccer, Izzy showcases her dedication and focus through music—she plays the violin, bringing the same precision and passion she demonstrates on the field.

Izzy is committed to continuing her growth as both a student and athlete, with aspirations of competing at the collegiate level.
