Hello, my name is Kendall Weatherby. I have been playing goalkeeper for 10 years and I have always loved the position. I am a consistent shot-stopper with a good range, can quickly get to high and low balls, and am a powerful presence during corners and free kicks. I have a positive attitude and a strong, controlling voice to provide leadership from the back and to keep the team calm under pressure. I am very coachable and always welcome feedback from my coaches and teammates to improve my game.

Soccer Accomplishments: I am very fortunate to have able to play in Europe, in both the Gothia Youth World Cup in Sweden, and against Academy teams in London, Liverpool, and Manchester as part of a Surf travel team. In addition:

•  Blues Cup 2025 Champion - saved two penalties in a penalty shootout that brought my team to the finals
• Part of the San Dieguito Academy varsity soccer team that made it to the CIF San Diego section D2 Championship in 2025
• Surf Select 2024

Academic Achievements: I have enjoyed learning American Sign Language and will receive the Seal of Biliteracy upon my high school graduation.

Outside of soccer: Outside of soccer I enjoy playing drums and playing in shows. I started drumming 3 years ago and it has become a passion of mine. I also enjoy travel, baking, and painting.
